Synopsis: How do you have a baby when you are 39 and single? What happens between Once upon a time, and Happily ever after? Anna is about to find out. This is a play about the stories we tell ourselves to get through life itself.
Cast Breakdown: The play can be performed with a minimum of seven actors - or more, if desired. Doubling is a goal, rather than a drawback. The doubling can be allocated as suits the casting types. It helps to cast men of three ages (young, middle and older) and the same with the women (a girl, two middle-aged, one older).

Set/Costume Requirements: Minimal. If possible only one prop per scene – a laptop - a banana - a bike….and as many scenes to be done on their feet as possible. Costume – the doubling should not be achieved primarily by costume changes but simply by different physicalities.
